Busy Bridesmaids & Stress Test

Today I have completed 2 more assignments! Busy Bridesmaids and Stress Test.

I also had to read text on wedding roles and working with the wedding party. This made me decide to add something else to my business!

Are you a maid of honor/honor attendant, best man, bridesmaid, or groomsmen and not really sure what your role in the wedding is. I have decided to put together special packages just for you. You can come in and I will give you everything you need to know about pre-wedding engagements, day-of ceremony, and post-wedding tasks.

If anyone is interested please let me know!

Trouble in Paradise & Bad Luck

Well, I have made it to Day 3 in my wedding planning course... I have read another booklet and completed two more assignments. Today the Assignments were "Trouble in Paradise" and "Bad Luck."

For the "Trouble in Paradise" assignment, I had to describe what I would do if a bride came to me upset about signing a prenuptial agreement... My response was to explain to her that these agreements are just a way of planning for the "worse case scenario" and they are created to protect both parties. Just because he wants one of these signed does not mean he wants to end the marriage.

For the "Bad Luck" assignment, the scenario was that the bride and groom saw each other on the day of the wedding and the bride started to panic about how it was "bad luck." I had to explain how I would deal with the devastated bride. I would simply tell her that bad luck is just an old adage and that most people do not even follow that tradition any longer and assure her that her husband would not change his feelings for her or their lifetime commitment.

Do I have any readers!? If so, what would you do if you were in the brides position? or the person the bride went to while she was upset? What would be your resolution for "trouble in paradise" or "bad luck"??
